There is so much nutritional misinformation out there about how to lose menopause weight or perimenopause weight – and so much of it involves passing fads and fluff that isn’t backed by science!  And of course, everyone is different. We all carry our unique set of beliefs, eating habits and health situations. So what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another.
As a fully-qualified and HCPC Registered Dietitian specialising in menopause and weight management, I take time to understand exactly where you are, so that we can create a nutrition and weight loss path that works for you.  As much as food and nutrition is important, I also help you to look at the. bigger picture and understand the biology and psychology of your eating habits. We look at other elements of your lifestyle too, and how they impact you – like your sleep, activity and stress. That way, any changes you make will fit in with your life as a whole and will be sustainable.  And I’m there to coach, guide and support you, every step of the way.

Absolutely!  Many of my clients come to me with various health conditions, as well as their. perimenopause or menopause symptoms.  As a Registered Dietitian, I can advise you on helpful food and nutrition so you can navigate your situation and improve your health numbers. And yes – to feel good again!  I have several degrees in nutrition and health, and a PhD in Nutrition – so you’re in safe hands.

Making lasting change is crucial and often links to our mindset and the beliefs we have about food and eating that we’ve collected along the way.  Fad diets and quick fixes are rarely the way forward, which is why, at the start of the RENEW programme, we focus on understanding and developing a helpful mindset and adjusting unhelpful beliefs.  Working together, we tailor these changes to you so you can manage your weight in a way that’s sustainable. I completely understand that weight gain with perimenopause or menopause (as well as all the other symptoms) can drain your energy, mess with your willpower and leave you feeling frazzled.  Giving your body what it truly needs at this time, including nourishing foods,  can really help you to feel more energised – and with less of those dreaded symptoms.  We’ll also look at other areas, like sleep and exercise, so that you start to reclaim your health as a whole.  And of course, you’ll have me to coach and encourage you, and to cheer you on. We’ll have regular one to one video calls, plus support on WhatsApp when you need it.  We’re in this together.

Even though everything I share is backed by science (and proven to work) I keep it simple for you.  The learning modules will give you what you need to know to make powerful,  sustainable changes to your life – without the info dump or overwhelm.

Struggling to find time for yourself is such a common challenge and it can hold us back and stop us getting started. This is something we work on at the start of the programme. We’ll see how you can best schedule the short bursts of time needed. I promise it will be worth it! I’ve made the video content bite-sized and easy to follow, and you can even watch or listen to it on the go. With the printable handouts, you won’t even need to take notes. Our one-to-one sessions can take account of time limitations, and we can try to fit them around family life. And the increased energy you’ll begin to have as we work together will soon make this feel like a breeze.

Yes! I have a BSc, a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, an MSc in Health Sciences and a PhD in Nutrition (which means I also hold the title of Doctor). As an HCPC Registered Dietitian, I’m also regulated by law and governed by
and ethical code. (You’re in safe hands!) I’m also a mindful eating practitioner, if you need support in that area.  Beyond the credentials, I bring empathy, understanding and a nonjudgemental approach to our time together.
